Dear Friends,

As I look out the window at the clear blue skies above Santa Fe, I want to believe that spring is finally here. Sure, it snowed a bit over the last couple of days, but anomalies like that are to be expected, no? Otherwise it wouldn't be spring in Santa Fe. We all learn to expect the unexpected.

I'm not really writing you about the weather--except in the sense that it relates to the opening of our patio. We've had our outdoor tables set up for a couple of weeks, and many of you have braved the winds to sit outdoors in the afternoon sun. Well now it's official: the Tree House patio is open for business.

Along with the opening of our outdoor seating area, we're thrilled to once again be serving Sunday brunch. Beginning tomorrow, April 25, and each Sunday through the summer and fall, we'll be offering a special Sunday Brunch Menu from 9am - 2pm. On it, you'll find some Tree House favorites--fritatta, farmers' market salads, and our breakfast burrito--as well as some new items we're excited to be offering. We're especially happy to be bringing out our new waffle iron, as many of you have asked for waffles in the past. As with everything we serve at Tree House, our brunch menu will be all-organic and, whenever possible, made from products available at the Santa Fe Farmers' Market.

And not a moment too soon. Mothers' Day is just a couple of weeks away, and as you know, we love kids at Tree House. By extension, we're huge fans of all the mothers out there doing the important work of shaping the future. (Rest assured, we're fans of all you fathers, as well. We know you've got an important job too. Your day will come soon.) We hope you'll consider spending Mothers' Day brunch at Tree House, whether you're a mother yourself or simply someone who loves one (or both!).

We'll be taking reservations for groups of six or more at 474-5543 or in person at the cafe. Either way, we'd love to hear from you, and hope to see you at Tree House soon.

Tree House is located at 1600 Lena Street in the Lena Street Lofts. You can reach us by phone at 505-474-5543. We are open from 8:00-4:00 Tuesday through Saturday. And now on Sundays too! We serve breakfast from 8:00-11:30am and lunch from 11:30 to 3:00. On Sunday, we server brunch from 9:00-2:00pm.
